São Leopoldo Mandic implements a rigorous Compliance Program in accordance with Law No. 12.846/2013 (Anti-Corruption Law), possibly being the first Higher Education Institution in Brazil to adopt internal controls with this level of structuring.

Integrity as an institutional principle
São Leopoldo Mandic operates with integrity and institutional responsibility, providing documents, policies, and reports to ensure transparency in its relationships with students, employees, partners, and society.
The institution's Compliance Program is governed by the Code of Ethics and Academic and Business Conduct (approved in January 2026) and the Internal Regulations of the Compliance Committee, documents that establish the ethical principles and standards of conduct expected of all members of the academic community, employees, service providers, and other parties related to the entities of the SRES group.
The Compliance area continuously monitors institutional processes to ensure compliance with regulatory standards from the Ministry of Education, the Access to Information Law, the LGPD (Brazilian General Data Protection Law), and other applicable legislation.

The Compliance Committee of São Leopoldo Mandic is the body responsible for overseeing and ensuring the application of integrity standards throughout the institution. Its responsibilities encompass the entire academic and administrative community.

Institutional Ombudsman
The Ombudsman's Office at São Leopoldo Mandic is the institutional channel for receiving suggestions, compliments, complaints, and requests for information. It complements the Ethics Channel and is available to the entire academic community and the general public.
