The São Leopoldo Mandic Faculty is the only Brazilian educational institution to be part of the Orpheus group – an organization for PhD education in Biomedicine and Health Sciences within the European System – a member of the Association of European Universities, which brings together educational institutions active in health sciences and biomedicine.

CAPES Evaluation

Recognition of academic excellence

The CAPES evaluation is conducted every four years and analyzes stricto sensu graduate programs based on academic quality, scientific production, human resource development, and scientific and social impact. The Dentistry programs at São Leopoldo Mandic achieved a score of 5 — the highest possible for professional programs — with a faculty predominantly composed of PhD professors, consistent scientific output, and modern infrastructure.

This program is geared towards qualifying dental professionals with an emphasis on applying scientific knowledge to clinical practice.
