Objectives
The course aims to equip already specialized professionals with the current knowledge of scientific evidence in Orthodontics and Functional Jaw Orthopedics in a versatile manner. This provides an eclectic education, with teachers presenting a clinically oriented approach, enabling the definition of more effective treatments with the goal of fully restoring oral functions, without being confined to a single line of reasoning. It includes training dentists in the latest scientific evidence in Orthodontics, focusing on timely interventions enabled by functional orthopedic therapy. Additionally, it covers training in planning and developing didactic activities, as well as research methodologies, communication theory, and the search for scientific articles and evidence.

Selection process

Selection and Enrollment

a) Registration:
Register online or through the Commercial Department by calling 0800 941 7 941, via WhatsApp at +55 19 99228-8781, or by emailing cursos@cursos.qa.slmandic.edu.br.

b) Enrollment:
For the Institution to consider the student properly enrolled in the class, the student must make the corresponding payment for the course enrollment via bank slip or credit card and electronically sign the digital contract, which will be sent via email through the IziSign Platform.
It is worth noting, however, that the college reserves the right to process the enrollment based on the order of payments, respecting the number of available slots in each class. If payment confirmation occurs after all available slots are filled, the course applicant will receive a refund of the amount paid.

The installments related to the course payment plan will follow the following due dates:
Master's Degree – Every 5th day of each month.
Doctorate – Every 20th day of each month.
Other types of courses (eg, Specialization, Advanced Certification, etc.) – Every 10th day of each month.

If the course offers the Extended Payment Plan option, and the student chooses it, they must indicate this before signing the contract. It will not be possible to make changes after the contract is signed.

c) The required documentation to regularize enrollment must be presented in physical format at the Student Support/Unit Secretary's Office, within the deadline specified in the educational services contract:
- One 3cm x 4cm front-angle photo with neutral background that allows for digital scanning;
- Passport showing personal identification, and the Visa Stamp to enter in Brazil (whenever applicable);
- Original Graduation Diploma translated in Portuguese.

Note: Due to the implementation of the Digital Secretary (Ministry of Education Ordinance), the bachelor's degree diploma is requested to be scanned at the institution and must be submitted within the deadline specified in the educational services contract. Failure to do so may result in the diploma not being issued if this issue remains unresolved.

    Payment and Contract

    Sign the digital contract sent by email from the Totvs platform and make your monthly payments via bank slip on the 5th of each month.

    Required Documents

    Please present the following documents to Student Support: birth/marriage certificate, ID card, CPF (Brazilian tax identification number), voter registration card, professional license, proof of residence, 3x4 photo, and graduation diploma.

    Tuition Payment

    Tuition payment via bank slip, PIX (Brazilian instant payment system), or credit card (minimum installment of R$ 500.00 in up to 6 installments).

  5. 5

    Extended Payment

    Extension in 6 installments with 5% interest on the total course value. A down payment is required before signing the contract.

  6. 6

    Refund Policy

    Cancellation up to 20 days before the start of the course/module: 80% refund, with 20% retained for administrative expenses. After this period, there will be no refund of the registration fee due to the impossibility of replacing the registrant.
